Ministry Project is a nationwide effort to assist Christians in including, ministering to, and caring for disabled people and their families within the framework of their local church.
Here at Blackshear Place Baptist Church our individual PURE ministry is called: Sonshine Ministry
Every Sunday at 9:30am, 11:00am and 6:00pm our Sonshine Ministry meets for fellowship and bible study. Directed by Mrs. Lori Millwood, the Sonshine Ministry strives to partner with parents in teaching our PURE individuals about God’s love and forgiveness in their lives.
Our Respite Care ProgramEvery 2nd Saturday of the month the Sonshine Ministry holds a RESPITE CARE from 4:00 to 7:00 pm here at BPBC. This is a time of fun activities, food and fellowship for our PURE children. Our adult Sonshine Ministry meets every 2nd Friday of the month from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
