Date Started at BPBC: August 6, 2003

Birthplace: Ginebra, Valle, Colombia
What I do at BPBC: I am responsible for leading the Hispanic ministry, which includes guiding the Hispanic congregation toward a healthy relationship with God in the follow areas; Connecting, Growing, and Serving as Christians. In each one of these areas, I must be sure that the Hispanic congregation is faithful in the vision and mission of Blackshear place. We want to CONNECT people to Jesus Christ through the intentional evangelism in worship services, revivals, host home groups, fellowships and sports activities. We are also actively GROWING our people through Sunday school, worship services, pastoral counseling, and leadership training. Lastly, SERVING is the voluntary service to God. Each member serves with a positive influence in the church and our Hispanic community according to their gifts and talents.
Family: On October 8, 1988 I married my sweet Ruth; this beautiful name means “sweet” in Hebrew. God has blessed us with two children, Andres (19) and Natalie (15).
Favorite Hobbies or Sports: Basketball, Soccer
My Relationship with Christ: I was born into a Christian home and family and was saved when I was 14 years old. That same year I was baptized, on March 17, 1979. The best memories that I have of my parents is their daily devotion and integrity. My parents would read the Bible and pray with their children before going to bed every night. The influence of my parents has marked my life forever.
