What I do at BPBC: I am responsible for the Facilities Ministry of BPBC, which includes Maintenance, Custodial Care, Event Prep, Vendor Contracts and general support of all Ministries and their needs. The mission of Facilities is to provide a clean, well maintained, safe environment in which all activities and events can take place, without manmade impediments. Facilities works behind the scenes cleaning and preparing rooms for the many events that take place each week, as well as making repairs and conducting preventative maintenance. The team of full and part time employees is spread over two shifts, seven days a week. We worked closely with the contractors during our recent expansion project, insuring that all events and services would proceed as normal, with little or no interruptions.

Family: Growing up in LaFayette GA, I met my wonderful wife Sandra, in 2nd grade. After one high school date, we went separate ways to pursue careers. Our paths crossed again in 1986, and we were married on December 5th, of 1987. We are blessed with two great girls, Katie, 17 and Jessica, 12.

Interest: Family time, camping trips, historical programs, playing guitar and reading.

Favorite Sports Team(s): Johnson High School, Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama

My Relationship with Christ: During a 2000 revival service here at BPBC, I realized that I was not truly saved. Although I had made a profession of faith and gotten baptized at the age of 15, my life did not reflect it. I had strayed away from the Lord, and felt a tremendous amount of conviction during the 11:00 am service on Sunday, November 5th. I knew before the invitation was offered that I had to submit my life to Christ once and for all. At the age of 37, I experienced the blessing of yielding my will and life to Jesus, and was baptized Tuesday, November 7th, during the revival service. Subsequently, I have been blessed to see my entire household come to know Jesus as their Savior too.
