What I do at BPBC: I am responsible for the Communications Ministry of BPBC, which includes Publications as well as the Media Ministry. These support ministries make sure that the vision and mission of Blackshear Place and our Pastor is clearly communicated to our members and our region. The Publications ministry handles the design, printing and distribution of all BPBC communications including items such as Worship Folders & the Impact Magazine. We are also administrators of bpbc.com & other church related websites. The other division of the Communications Ministry I am responsible for, the Media Ministry, exists to provide technical support to all ministries of Blackshear Place. Along with a team of volunteers we work behind the scenes every week to make sure each worship service, class and activity is seen and heard with excellence.

Family: I married my High School sweetheart, Ashley, on March 14, 1998. The Lord has blessed us with three awesome children. Our millennium baby, Caroline (8), our princess, Beth (7), and our nothing but boy, son, Scott (5).

Favorite Hobbies or Sports: Golf, Tennis, Fishing & working in the yard

My Relationship with Christ: It was July 1989, as a 13 year old boy, my best friend invited me to a revival at his church. I remember him asking me at the end of the service if I new for sure I was going to heaven. He went forward with me and I asked Christ to be my savior that evening. I recall going home and being so excited about telling my mom who rejoiced with me and on July 23, 1989 I was baptized at East Memorial Baptist Church in Prattville, Alabama.
