Birthplace: New Orleans, Louisiana, but grew up in Daytona Beach for most of my life.

What I do at BPBC: I oversee the ongoing ministry programs for the three student division (Middle School, High School, & College Age Ministries), but personally lead the high school and college aged students here at Blackshear Place Baptist Church. I have been given the opportunity to provide leadership in the areas of Bible Fellowship, Wednesday Worship, Outreach and Evangelism, Discipleship, and other events related to the student ministries as well as enlisting, training, and leading our adult volunteers who are the backbone of the Student Ministries.

Family: I found my lovely bride, Danielle, in Shawnee, Oklahoma while attending college. God has graciously give us three children, Jessica who is a servant hearted 9th grader, Casey who is a fun loving and sensitive 5th grader, and Dakota who is a 2 year old rambunctious toddler that tends to get his way.

Favorite Hobbies or Sports: I am very active hunter and fisherman. Specifically bass fishing and deer hunting!

Favorite Food: Blue Bell Ice cream…pick a flavor!

My Relationship with Christ: I grew up in a minister’s home, but instead of looking to God for a relationship with Him I allowed my life to be soured by the flaws in those I saw at church. It wasn’t until I was 19 years of age that I realized that I had yet to surrender my life to Christ and allow him to take complete control. I had said a prayer, been baptized, but had not agreed to trust Him. On that night, sitting in my room, I did just that and made a public confession concerning my salvation the following Sunday on August 12, 1990. Several months later God called me to serve Him in full time ministry through a mission trip experience and has guided me through many other opportunities to serve Him in places even as far away as Alaska!
